All The Thanksgivings!

The week before Thanksgiving break was filled with turkey celebrations!!

Tuesday, Nov 17th Remy had a cute Thanksgiving-themed gymnastics class.

Then we changed her into clothes and went to Rylie's feast at school!

They were so cute in line holding hands all on their own :)

Girl Scout buddy we sat with!

This picture more accurately depicts these girls lol

My sweet girls

On our way out we saw a familiar face (bottom left) on the Veterans Day wall of honor, my brother. Rylie took it to school to present to her class.

Then Friday, November 20, I ducked out of MOMSnext a little early for Remy's feast at her preschool!

It was done a little differently this year. I felt kind of rushed and the dessert room cleared out fast! I was glad I grabbed Remy a pumpkin pie on my way in because when I went back to get me one, it was all gone!

Love their sweet table settings each year!

Yum yum!

Finally getting her pie! She's been on a big pumpkin pie kick lately!

Love this little tot!

We had another great Thanksgiving this year!

They've grown so much since last year!

Side by side comparison!

My favorite thing to do Thanksgiving morning is watch the parade. I get so excited, I cry. Seriously. I don't know why, but I love watching every float!

The girls loved dancing to all the performances!

And they went NUTS when "Chippy" the Elf on the Shelf arrived!!

Almost to the finale.....

Here he comes!!! EEEEK!

It's SANTA!!!

It's ridiculous how giddy I get at this parade each year! lol Never lose that childlike faith, my friends! :)

After the parade, my mom did some turkey crafts with the girls while we finished cooking!

Tom is ready!

Crescent rolls, anyone? :)

The table is set!

Time to eat!

My favorite memory is when we went around the table and said what we're thankful for. Remy blew us all away by saying she's thankful for everyone in her family and everyone who takes good care of her. Cue the tears! Sweetest thoughts from a 4 year old.

And a sweet ending to our night!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Recent Girl Scout Fun and more

We've had a BUSY year with Brownies so far. Now that Rylie's old enough to do more things, we've been packed with activities!

A pottery clay workshop

Home scientist experiments

An archery lesson at Girl Scout Camp

Brownie Magic at Girl Scout Camp
We were jumping for joy the sun came out after a rainy morning!

And a lot of fun troop meetings! We're gearing up now for cookie season and a TON of Christmas activities this December! You may not hear from me again until January :)

Rylie has another artwork from school that was selected. It's on display at a local library so we stopped by to see it.

Cuties for church one cool morning!

50's day at school on the 50th day in October (I forgot to post before)

American Girl Lunch and Field Trips!

Sunday, November 1st we took Rylie to lunch at American Girl for the first time!
Of course she had to bring her Grace too!

My mother in law and I had a special girl's lunch with her.

She was in heaven the whole time! And the food was pretty good too!

Dessert sampler tray too! Grace even had a good time ;-)

Just hanging out with her pal Grace.

Oh and Rylie's outfit is one I made for her birthday party. I wasn't about to spend $90 on that outfit for her to get a stain or it color bleed in the wash. This version was MUCH cheaper and she loved it just the same!

Wednesday, November 4 was Remy's first field trip at her preschool!
They went to a local farm for kids and she had a great time!

Pony ride first before the line got long.

Then fed some animals. She loved the cows!

The deer are sweet but they scared her! She dropped the food the moment the deer's mouth got to her hand lol Poor deer!

Train ride!

Swingset fun!

Sand hill that she loved (and I wiped her down good and sanitized after she played on hehe!)

I tried explaining tether ball to her lol

And of course her favorite!

Then the following Tuesday, November 10 was Rylie's school field trip that I helped chaperone and Remy tagged along on! They went to the Children's Museum!

Can you believe Remy pulled herself up on this?!

lol just kidding! I pulled her heavy self up and she held it for a photo!

She loved these magnets too!

Rylie had a blast with her class!

And she was much harder to pull up there lol!

Making a track for the golfball

Building a house

Waterworks!

Rylie's class didn't get to stay but an hour and a half and then went back to school for lunch so Remy and I stayed and visited my favorite part, Kidtropolis!

First she worked in the pizza parlor!

Served me lunch!

Then she went to her next job at HEB!

Such a sweet cashier!

Then she picked up her own groceries.

And I checked her out.

She grabbed another quick shift and cashiered some more.

Then she picked up some Uber rides on her way home.

And did you know she works as an EMT on the weekends too??

And fills in as the weather girl from time to time.

Such a busy 4 year old!! I love that place and need to bring the girls more often before they outgrow it!
