We had a pretty great Thanksgiving once again! We hosted David's mom, Craig, and Daniel and for the first time, my mom came down! We enjoyed the parade, some appetizers, and Remy napped before a big, yummy dinner! David actually headed out to JC Penney tonight and grabbed 2 Black Friday deals he's excited about for himself lol Overall it was a great day and looking forward for the Christmas season now!
Here's our pictures from Thanksgiving......

Rylie made placecards for everyone ;-)

Madeline's Christmas

This past Sunday, Rylie got to see her first theater play, Madeline's Christmas!!
Of course we had to take her when my friend told me this show was performing locally! She still has big love for Madeline. She was so excited to wear her costume and bring her doll and her own copy of the book (which was a gift from Mimi's friend Janie that started all her love for Madeline!)
My mother in law and I took her since it's sort of "our" thing with Rylie.

 Our big girl!

(Seriously this costume is 3 years old! It used to be a long dress on her lol)

The play was really cute and afterwards, the cast was doing meet and greets out front!

Everyone loved Rylie's costume! These girls were so sweet!

The cook and the genie!

Rylie was so beside herself to meet them both!

Best photo!! They were the sweetest cast and Rylie loved them all!
We got a special treat for Remy since she was too little to see the play.

Her own doll and Madeline cookie!
She was so excited after nap to get her surprise! She kept saying "It's for ME?! This is MINE?!" She LOVES her Madeline doll and carries her around ALL DAY and takes such good care of her. We've had talks about how special she is and she just adores her. Another Madeline fan in the making!

Remy's Feast

Yesterday was my favorite event at my girl's sweet preschool, the Thanksgiving Feast!

And I actually got there early this year to take a photo in her class before it started!

Found her seat!

I love, love, love the cute setups they do each year and look forward to seeing what works of art they'll have each time. (Here's a secret I learned, when their calendar says they're working on placemats, I dressed Remy in cute Fall outfits all week because I knew they'd take a photo for it. Hehe!)

She was SO excited Mommy came to eat lunch with HER this time!

Loved the table centerpieces!

Me and my little turkey! Crazy the first time she attended this when Rylie went here, Remy was just a tiny 2 month old and slept through the whole thing. Now it's her show and she's such a big girl!

Oh she wanted that right away! (I never let her have these at home! lol)

We love the dessert room!

Strangely, my coconut cream pie wasn't out :( I really wanted a piece of it too.

The other half of the room! So much to choose from!

Full gym! I think they said they served over 550 people.

And my drama queen when her plate arrived. lol I talked it up all week about what we would eat and it'd be so yummy! She wasn't buying it.

But she did eat the roll! lol I managed a bite or 2 of turkey and potatoes out of her.

Then she got her cookie she picked out!

Cutest girl.

So thankful for this sweet little school and thankful Remy loves it just as much as big sister did!

School Movie Night & Family Mall/American Girl Day

Last Friday night, Rylie's school had an outdoor movie night. Contrary to many bribes offered, Rylie really wanted to attend this (we missed last year due to Girl Scout Disney on Ice event and she chose movie night over that this year).

So it was 40 degrees out and we bundled up and went!

We got there early to get seats up front since we sat on the ground and the girls killed time having a dance party! We watched "The Lego Movie" and it was cute. Definitely confirmed Remy's not ready to  attend a movie theater

Last Saturday we took a family trip to a nearby mall that has the American Girl store attached.

Rylie's been wanting for months to take her Saige in to get her hair styled. She had birthday money and giftcards there to redeem for it. The salon was pretty cute!

Watching her Saige get styled!

She wanted to see the Isabelle display. (Thankfully she doesn't like this year's doll though! I thought the movie was dumb and don't like her either.)

But she wanted to pose with the display of her still!

And Rylie came home with a new addition, Kit! She's been into Kit for almost a year now, we've seen the movie and read the books and it's a really cute story (and easier hair to manage, ha!). I'm proud of Rylie for saving her money and waiting patiently for something that she really wanted.

We did a bunch of Christmas shopping too and got the Santa visit out of the way (hence the festive outfits the girls wore.) And Remster crashed hard towards the end! It was a fun family day. We hadn't done this in a long time, so it was really great spending the day out together.
