Sunday afternoon our little neighborhood church had a "Hanging of the Greens" where everyone comes up and helps decorate for Christmas!
They had crafts for the kids and Rylie learned how to do the rainbow loom that's really popular!
She made a Christmas bracelet!
Proud to show off her creation!
They ALSO had a pie contest! And guess who got to be a judge? Yours truly!
I got to taste 15 different pies!
Pretty much a dream come true. Ha!
Pastor Stephen actually had a trophy made for the winner too. He took it very seriously!
He was also a judge! A very serious, Iron-Chef-style judge! It was hysterical!
Our judge score sheets. The winning pie was the Coconut Caramel.
(In case you wanted to know, the other 14 flavors were Pineapple, Pistacio, Orea Pudding, Oreo, Chocolate Pecan Salted Caramel, Cranberry Pear, Derby, Rocky Road, Macadamian Coconut, Lemon Chess, Lemon, Lemon Buttermilk, Cheesecake Pie, and Blueberry)
Rylie enjoyed chocolate covered marshmallows with a friend from school
Daddy and Remy came up and helped decorate too!
It all turned out so pretty
And they have the prettiest Nativity set too!
We're almost done with "hanging of the greens" at our house too!
